Description
This worksheet consists of two pages (6 sentences in each page, 12 sentences with 12 images in total). Each sentence is a nominal sentence (does not include a verb). This worksheet can be used to learn and practice names of some clothes items and names of colours.
The worksheet can be used in two aspects to develop the learner’s language skills:
Reading:
The learner reads the sentence and chooses the right word to complete the sentence depending on the image provided. The sentences are designed to make the learner focus on the colour and the clothes item. The right choice will depend on the learner’s learning of the name of colour and the item of clothes.
Speaking:
For this activity, the teacher can ask the learner related questions:
ماذا ترى في الصورة؟
ماذا يرتدي/ يلبس ….؟
ما لون قميص ….؟
Such questions will help the learner in several aspects:
- learn and memorise the names of colours in a simple text.
- learn about items of clothes with illustrations
