This worksheet is designed to help learners of Arabic (intermediate level) learn compound nouns or collocations (the habitual juxtaposition of a particular word with another word or words with a frequency greater than chance) (المتصاحبات اللغوية).

• The worksheet includes six pages (1 cover page and 5 pages with eight questions on each page).
• The first component of the compound noun is given. The learner has to find the second component  and write it down depending on the image provided.
• The questions are illustrated with a photo so the learner does not need to use their mother language when using this worksheet.
•  The choices in each question are varied in a way that the previous compound nouns and the upcoming ones are repeated so the learner becomes familiar with them indirectly.
• Learning compound nouns can enhance fluency and accuracy
• The repetition of the compound nouns also enhances the reading skill through developing the photo-reading/memory technique.

The teacher can -at the end of each page- ask the learner oral questions to make sure the learner has mastered these compound nouns and can make sentences using them.
